Art Nouveau Pewter & Ruskin Vases J Dixon c1920

Art Nouveau Pewter & Ruskin Vases J Dixon c1920
A stunning pair of Art Nouveau pewter vases, each set with circular and heart shaped Ruskin ceramic cabochons. Stamped for James Dixon of Sheffield, and numbered 505, these are a wonderful design. Dixon had taken over William Hutton who were the main users of Ruskin roundels after A E Jones on metalware. Dating to circa 1920 they are in good condition, commensurate with age, each measuring 15cm high and 9cm diameter. 3 of the Ruskin hearts have cracks but nothing particularly noticeable on what are quite a rare pair of vases! The asking price includes insured postage in UK. For overseas postage please contact me for a quote to your destination.
