19th Century South Indian Bronze Shrine
A good quality 19th Century Indian bronze shrine, probably Southern Indian in manufacture, containing an associated figure of Vishnu. Originally there would have been a set of Vishnu and his two consort - Sri Devi and Bhu Devi. The backing plate has good detailing including a headed cobra. Offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, it measures 25cm max high, 17.5cm wide and approx 8cm deep. The figure is 11cm high. The price includes UK postage.
