19th Century South Indian Carved Side Table
A wonderful 19th Century Southern Indian hardwood Side Table, the top carved with assorted Deities and Figures and a boldly carved border, the three legs with dense foliage above Leopards paw feet. The style of carving and choice of Deities suggests a Southern Indian origin. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age. The carving still good and crisp, and only slight signs of wear as expected for its date. The top measures 51cm in diameter, and it stands 60cm high.
