A E Jones Arts & Crafts Copper Enamel Box c1910
A wonderful A E Jones Arts & Crafts copper and enamel box, dating to circa 1910. This version has the central enamel on the lid and smaller enamels to the front and sides. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, if inspected closely there is very minor grazing to the large enamel, an old crack to the front enamel and a small split to the bottom of the front left foot. None of this is apparent from any distance. The lid measures 20cm wide and 14.5cm deep and it is 5.5cm high overall. Although unmarked it is a known design and definitely made by A E Jones in Birmingham.
