Alexander Ritchie Celtic Iona Brass Nunnery Box
A rare Arts & Crafts Iona Celtic brass box, the design attributed to Alexander Ritchie, circa 1920-30. I haven't had one of these before but examples are illustrated in books and online. Offered in reasonable condition, commensurate with age, it has been polished and could do with re-soldering as there is a split on the corner where the top has come apart from the side. This has been repaired in the past but could be done much more neatly. It measures 11cm long, 7cm wide and 5cm tall. The price includes UK postage.
