Anglo Indian Silver Locket Pendant on Chain Deities Gods
A wonderful Anglo Indian silver locket on chain, decorated with the Indian Deity Vishnu seated on the back of a Garuda or eagle, within a foliate chased border. Dating to circa 1880-1900 and typically unmarked this is visually great and different to your run of the mill Victorian lockets! It is well made and is a good gauge of silver. The silver chain is not original to the locket but is period and matches well. The condition is commensurate with age with some minor age related rubbing. The chain is 64cm ( 25") long, whilst the locket measures 5cm ( 2") tall - With the bail 7cm ( 2 3/4") - by 4cm (1 1/2") wide. Price includes UK postage. Please contact me for overseas delivery
