Art Deco Modernist Donald Deskey Occasional Table

Art Deco Modernist Donald Deskey Occasional Table
An Art Deco modernist occasional table, dating to circa 1935-1945, with chrome supports, black vitrolite glass and ebonised circular top, and ebonised H form base. It is attributed to Donald Deskey, the American designer who designed the interiors for Radio City Music Hall in New York, and is very much in his style. It measures 61cm ( 24") in diameter and stands 50cm (19 3/4") high. The condition is commensurate with its age, with some light wear to the interior of the chrome supports and to the glass top, but these are not really noticeable in general use.
