Art Nouveau Brass Coal Box Bin Circa 1910
An Art Nouveau coal box or bin, dating to circa 1910, equally useful for logs or pretty much anything else!. Formed of brass on a wood frame, with steel back, it is an attractive piece with its faux strap work hinges to the lid and foliate design to the front. A strong and sturdy piece, it is in fair condition, commensurate with age, with some minor age related knocks and dents. The lid measures 41cm by 36cm, with the base 31cm deep and 37.5cm high at the back.
