Art Nouveau Marquetry Panel Japanese Scene
An Art Nouveau marquetry panel, dating to circa 1910-20, decorated with a Japanese scene of a stork flying before Mount Fuji. Most likely taken from a children's illustration it is in the original frame. A rather striking image, it is offered in good condition, commensurate with age, albeit with some narrow shrinkage cracks which can be seen in the detail photographs. They are stable and look to have occurred many years ago. The image measures 21cm by 35.5cm, with the frame 30cm by 44cm. The price includes UK postage.
