Art Nouveau Peacock Jewellery Box, c.1910
A lovely Art Nouveau brass mounted jewellery box, probably French in manufacture and dating to circa 1910-20. The top is decorated with a peacock, the front and sides with rose garlands. Fitted with a working lock and key it has a plain wood interior and is in good condition, commensurate with age, with only minor wear. It measures 25cm wide, 15.5cm deep and 16.5cm high.
