Art Nouveau Silver Enamel Brooch circa 1910
A lovely and vibrant Art Nouveau brooch, decorated with blue/ green enamel, counter enamelled in blue, with a freshwater pearl dropper. Dating to circa 1910 it is unmarked, as most brooches of this type are, as the counter enamelling would have covered any assay marks. It is good condition, commensurate with age, with a replacement pin, and measures 28mm wide by 28mm tall including the copper, weighing 3.8gms.
