Art Nouveau Silver Plate & Enamel Glass Claret Jug
A lovely Art Nouveau silver plate and enamelled glass claret jug, dating to around 1900-1910, and probably manufactured by Legras et Cie at St Denis, Paris. A great shape, with bright and vibrant enamels, it is offered in good condition, commensurate with age. The hand painted enamel decoration is still bright and crisp, there are no chips or cracks to the glass and the metal mount shows signs of wear in the expected areas around the handle and the lid. It measures 29cm high and a maximum 15cm diameter across the glass. The price includes UK postage. Please contact me if further afield.
