Arts & Crafts B'ham School Copper Peacock Charger
A wonderful rare Arts & Crafts Copper charger, dating to circa 1900-1910, decorated with a central peacock and a border of and made in Birmingham by either Faulkner Bronze Co, Jesson, Birkett & Co or A. E. Jones, as all made this design successively over a period of 10-15 years. As is very well described by David Marshall on his essential Hammer and Hand website. Very well-made it is a good large size at 57.5cm diameter and is offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, with some light rubbing. It has been re-polished as there were some markings but will build up a patina quite easily now if you don't polish it! The price includes UK postage.
