Arts & Crafts Brass & Copper Log Bin
An Arts & Crafts brass and copper cylindrical log, coal or storage bin, dating to circa 1910, with riveted decoration, substantial scrolled handles and bold claw feet. A heavy duty piece with quite an aged look about it, it is strong and stable. Offered in reasonable condition, commensurate with age, there are some light markings, particularly to the seams beneath the handles, and a plate has been riveted internally on the base to strengthen one of the feet. But overall it is quite an attractive and useful piece, suitable for logs, kindling or just magazine storage. It measures 35.5cm high, 33cm diameter, with the max width at the feet 41cm.
