Arts & Crafts Bronze Glastonbury Bowl, circa 1910
An interesting bronze Arts and Crafts Glastonbury bowl, retailed by J Gillmore of Glastonbury circa 1910. It is a copy of an Iron Age bowl rediscovered during excavations at Glastonbury Lake Village circa 1909. A silver version was commissioned and presented to the Prince of Wales in 1909 and copies in silver and copper were then produced. It is offered in good condition, commensurate with age, and measures 11cm diameter and 7cm high.
