Arts & Crafts Carved Oak Shield Form Mirror
An Arts & Crafts carved oak shield shape mirror, dating to circa 1880-1900, decorated with foliage, Gryphons heads and a central shell. Boldly and well carved it is offered in good condition, commensurate with age. There is a repaired central vertical shrinkage crack which isn't noticeable and a later back board. The mirror has been replaced. It measures 66.5cm tall and 53cm wide, with the mirror plate 31cm by 24cm. Please note the photos show the original bevel mirror plate that has been replaced with a new flat mirror plate. The price includes UK postage.
