Arts & Crafts Cornish Copper Box
A very good quality Arts & Crafts copper box, dating to circa 1900, and probably manufactured by the Cornish Art Metalwork Company, later taken over by J F Pool of Hayle. I've based this attribution on the hammered background, its good weight and the quality of the workmanship. It has a great colour and is a lovely design with the riveted corner details. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it measures 13.5cm wide at the base, 10.5cm deep and 6cm tall. The price includes UK postage.
