Arts & Crafts Inlaid Oak Cigar Box c1900
A lovely Arts and Crafts oak box, the top and front inlaid with fruitwood, with cedar lined interior and base, so probably was used for cigars. English and dating to circa 1900, it has the original lock and key, and is presented in good condition overall, commensurate with age. The figuring of the quarter sawn oak is wonderful and it is a striking piece. The top measures 24cm by 16.5cm, and it is 9.5cm high. The interior measures 19.5cm by 12cm by 6.5cm high.
