Arts & Crafts Liberty Sedley Oak Bookcase 2
A Liberty & Co oak bookcase, dating to circa 1900-1910, illustrated in their catalogues as "The Sedley". Offered in three and four tier versions, this is a three tier with pegged shelves and pierced trefoil decoration to the uprights. The back boards are screwed in and thus give the piece great rigidity and strength. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it has been stripped and refinished and has a good tone and colour, matching well with the other similar bookcase I am also listing. It measures 98cm tall, 57cm max wide and 20cm deep, with a generous shelf height of 27cm. I have listed them separately as they are slightly different widths, but not noticeably so. Delivery included within 30 miles of Taunton, elsewhere £84.00 in England and Wales, £96.00 lower Scotland. I have two more of this model awaiting refurbishment if you require more.
