Arts & Crafts Narrow Tall Oak Bookcase
A good quality Arts & Crafts narrow tall oak bookcase, dating to circa 1910, made of substantial timbers. The back has pierced decoration and it is a strong and stable piece with a solid back rather than the more common plywood. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it has decent colour. The back panels have shrunk slightly leaving a gap just under the top shelf but this is not visible in use. It measures 117cm tall, 38.5cm wide and 18cm deep (22.5cm at the foot), with graduated shelf depths of 16cm, 18.5cm, 18.5cm and 21cm.
