Arts & Crafts Newton Class Fish Plaque J Williams
A great Arts & Crafts copper plaque, dating to circa 1900-1910, now firmly attributed to the Newton Class in Cambridgeshire and designed by John Williams. I'd first thought it was a piece he'd designed at Fivemiletown but further research has shown it to be when he was working at Newton. A good gauge and colour, well executed with crisp detailing, it is offered in good condition, commensurate with age, and measures 30.5cm diameter and about 1.5cm deep. The price includes UK postage.
