Arts & Crafts Oak & Leather Dragon Magazine Stand
A wonderful and quite unusual Arts & Crafts oak magazine stand, or perhaps log store, dating to circa 1910. The sides are set with fabulous leather panels decorated with coiled dragons. I'm uncertain who made it but the quality is clear to see! Offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, I had to re-mount the leather panels as the original leather cord had perished and have tried to match the original as closely as possible. There is one area where two of the pierced holes have torn on a panel but this is not noticeable unless at close distance. It measures 61cm high, 47.5cm wide and 32.5cm deep.
