Arts & Crafts Oak Bureau With Hearts
A useful and attractive Arts & Crafts oak bureau, dating to circa 1900-1910, with pierced heart details to the gallery. A strong and solidly made piece, of substantial timbers, the fall front has Arts and Crafts brass mounts and handle and opens to reveal a fitted interio. Below is a single wide drawer and adjustable shelf. Offered in good restored condition, it has been refinished and polished. There is a small chip by the keyhole and two repairs cracks to the base of the uprights on the sides which are not noticeable. It measures 107.5cm tall, 70cm wide and 31.5cm deep at the foot.
