Arts & Crafts Oak Over Mantel Mirror, c1900
A great Arts & Crafts quarter sawn oak overmantel mirror, dating to circa 1900, with original bevel glass mirror plate and pierced top gallery centred with an inverted heart. Probably made by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple, it is a lovely object with great detailing and a good colour. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, with only very minor spotting to the mirror plate, it measures 137.5cm wide by 94.5cm high, with a shelf depth of 17cm. The mirror measures 100.5cm by 64.5cm.
