Arts & Crafts Oak Shapland & Petter Hall Chair
A great Arts & Crafts ebonised oak hall chair, dating to circa 1900, probably manufactured by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple. Well made and a very striking design it is offered in good condition, commensurate with age, with minor signs of use, albeit with age related wear to the seat. It is stamped with a number to the base of the seat rail, as photographed. It measures 104.5cm tall, with the seat 45.5cm tall and 45.5cm max wide.
