Arts & Crafts Oak Tile Top Work Table Desk
A lovely Arts & Crafts oak tile top table, dating to circa 1910-20, set with red tiles. Probably originally from a school (judging by the chewing gum I removed from underneath!) it is a lovely table and ever so practical - be it as a small kitchen table, in a conservatory or as a work table or desk. The makers label underneath is for a Birmingham manufacturer and it is a strong and sturdy piece. Offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, there is one cracked tile and another with a chip - both photographed- and a small repair to a leg at the top but overall it looks great and the tiles are a lovely mellow colour Overall it measures 121.5cm wide, 61cm deep and 72.5cm high.
