Arts & Crafts Silver & Enamel Bracelet, 1912
A lovely English Arts & Crafts silver and enamel bracelet. It has the most attractive violet and pale blue enamel. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1912 and the makers marks S.B. The only reference for this mark is listed as Sidney Brooks who were importers and retailers. We have sold several similar bracelets in the past that were manufactured by James Fenton, a well known manufacturer of Arts & Crafts enamel jewellery in Birmingham at this time, and it is likely that this one was also made by Fenton but assayed for Sidney Brooks. The bracelet is in good condition but unfortunately the clasp was damaged so we have had it replaced with a C clasp which does not detract from the overall look of the piece. The bracelet measures 86.5mm in diameter and weighs 8.2g with a safety chain for security. It will be sent in a custom made Levels Antiques presentation box.
