Arts & Crafts Silver and Chalcedony Earrings
A pair of Arts and Crafts silver and teardrop cabochon chalcedony earrings, dating to circa 1940. The design of the earrings is by Bernard Instone but most probably they were manufactured by Shipton and Co. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, these are a great design and well executed. They are stamped Silver to the reverse and whilst they do not have his mark they are unmistakably Instone with the casting of the flowers and the leaf form suspension. They measure 33mm by 14mm max, with each stone 14mm by 8mm max, and weigh 6.3 grams (.20 ozt). They have bar fittings for pierced ears. The price includes UK special delivery.
