Arts & Crafts Silver and Enamel Bracelet c.1910
A wonderful British Arts and Crafts bracelet, with rectangular panels enamelled in tones of green and blue on a bubble ground within hammered borders (and counter enamelled to the reverse), the links separated by circular mother of pearl roundels with a concealed clasp also of mother of pearl. Unmarked save for scratch marks to the back of the clasp, it is very well made and probably dates to about 1910-20. There are some similarities with Bernard Instone but apart from hazarding it was made in Birmingham I cannot for firmly attribute it. It is in excellent condition, commensurate with age. It measures approximately 190mm in length when closed (so would fit most wrists), with each section 23mm by 10mm, the mother of pearl roundels 8mm diameter and the oval clasp 13mm by 10mm. It weighs 15.2 grams (.490 ozt). The price includes UK special delivery. Please contact me for overseas postage rates. It will be sent in a custom Levels Antiques box.
