Arts & Crafts Silver Chalcedony Agate Brooch
An English Arts & Crafts silver brooch set with a central chalcedony cabochon stone and two banded agate stones either side. The quality of this handmade piece sings out as the agate stones are domed and concave to let the light through. The central stone measures 18.5mm and the length of the brooch is 62mm making it a large statement piece. The brooch dates from circa 1910 and weighs 11.2g. The brooch is unmarked but tests as silver. It also has a small loop to the reverse so that a safety chain could be added if required (which also supports the quality of this brooch.) The brooch is in good condition commensurate with age and will be sent in a custom made Levels Antiques presentation box.
