Arts & Crafts Silver Hematite Brooch Shipton & Co
A pretty Arts and Crafts silver brooch, the design and manufacture attributed to Shipton and Co of Birmingham circa 1950. Decorated with flowers and leaves around the facetted central hematite stone this brooch was produced to emulate Bernard Instones work of the 1930s. The brooch is presented in good condition, commensurate with age, and is stamped Sterling Silver to the edge. It measures 35mm by 23mm and weighs 11 grams (.355 ozt).
