Arts & Crafts Silvered Box Cabochon & Strapwork
An attractive Arts & Crafts silvered metal box, dating to circa 1910, decorated with strapwork and a central cabochon to the lid. Obviously, given its engraved cartouche titled "Cigarettes" it had an intended purpose originally! It has been replated and the interior lightly gilded but overall it displays well, albeit with a couple of scratches to the mount for the cabochon. The cabochon is original but was reset after plating. It measures 5cm tall, 15.5cm wide and 8.7cm deep. The price includes Uk postage.
