Arts and Craft Gothic Oak Bookcase
An Arts and Crafts oak bookcase of stepped form, with gothic arched side supports, as retailed by Liberty and Co. It has a shaped apron and cut-out decoration to the gallery. It measures 126cm (49 1/2" ) high, 62cm (24 1/4") wide and 21.5cm ( 8 1/2") deep, with the internal shelf widths 51cm (20") for the upper two shelves and 57cm ( 22 1/2") for the base shelf. Each shelf is 29.5cm (11 3/4") internal height.
The bookcase has been polished and its condition is commensurate with age, with a minor repair to the bottom of the apron.
