Arts and Crafts Silver, Pearl and Boulder Opal Pendant

Arts and Crafts Silver, Pearl and Boulder Opal Pendant
A lovely Arts and Crafts silver pendant decorated with honesty motif around a large central boulder opal. The suspension ring is also disguised as an honesty flower, whilst the dropper is a freshwater pearl. Whilst unmarked this is a period piece dating to circa 1900 - 1920. Often this style of Arts and Crafts jewellery with opals is attributed to Rhoda Wager - this may be by her but many others made similar pieces. Whoever made it made a stylish piece. The opal measures 18.5mm x 11mm, whilst the pendant overall is 44mm max top of ring to bottom of pearl dropper x 25mm max width. It comes with a modern silver chain and in a custom jewellery box. Condition is commensurate with age. Please examine the photos or ask for further details.
