Arts Crafts Fire Kerb Motto East West Hame's Best

Arts Crafts Fire Kerb Motto East West Hame's Best
A great Arts & Crafts copper fire kerb or fender, dating to circa 1900, the front with the motto "East West Hame's Best". It has a great colour and patina, unsurprisingly with signs of use over the years. There are several shrinkage splits to the copper that have been stabilised with extra copper nails, by the look of it probably 70+ years ago, and quite a few dents. But it does definitely look the part and, as I said before, has a wonderful deep colour. It measures 124cm wide and 31.5cm deep externally, and 103.5cm wide and 21cm deep internally. Delivery free within 30 miles of Taunton, otherwise £72.00 within mainland England and Wales and £96.00 most of mainland Scotland.
