Arts Crafts Jugendstil Christian Seybold Pendant
A German Arts and Crafts Jugendstil silver pendant, with incised white enamel semi circles around trefoil piercing and the central mother of pearl, the edge with a lilac purple enamel band. It is marked to the rear with the makers mark for Christian Seybold, depose and the silver purity mark .935. It dates to circa 1900-1910. It measures 35mm in diameter. The replacement chain measures 42cm (16 1/2") long. Condition is commensurate with age, although I suspect the mother of pearl may be a replacement.
