Arts Crafts Oil on Canvas Still Life Flowers 1890
A well painted Arts & Crafts oil on canvas, dating to circa 1880 to 1890. Unsigned, but by a skilled hand, it is well detailed, has vibrant colours and the subject matter is very well suited to the style. The original framers label is for Herbert J Brown of Bridgwater. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age. The original frame and slip has been painted over at some time with a matt off white chalk type paint but it does serve to frame the image well. The image measures 29cm by 59.5cm, with the frame 45cm by 75.5cm.
