A stunning and rare late Victorian Arts and Crafts woven silk, seed pearl and turquoise necklace. The silk is woven in an intricate helix pattern interspersed with turquoise and seed pearls. Dating to circa 1890 and offered in good condition, commensurate with age, with only very slight wear to the silk, it hangs long with a 50cm drop, including the 3.5cm by 2.5cm by 1.6cm turquoise dropper.
