Benham & Froud Gothic Brass Jug Ewer
A Benham & Froud Reformed or Ecclesiastical Gothic brass ewer or jug, dating to circa 1880, of typical form with a machined or knurled detail to the waist. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it is an elegant design and has a good look about it. The stamped mark to the base incorporates an orb, chosen to commemorate the companies' manufacture of a cross with orb on the spire of St Pauls Cathedral in 1821. It measures 23.5cm in height.
