Carved Oak Figure of a School Boy Circa 1900

Carved Oak Figure of a School Boy Circa 1900
A carved oak figure of a schoolboy, carrying his books on a sling over his shoulder, and dating to circa 1900. There is something of the Tom Browns Schooldays about the figure and it is very well detailed and naturalistic. It is unmarked so there is no attribution apart that is is probably British School! Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it measures 14.5cm high.
