Council Rock Jungle Book Print R Kipling Detmold
A wonderful chromolithograph print after Charles Maurice Detmold, dating to circa 1905, with an image of "Council Rock" from Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. This is the larger size print which I believe was issued in limited numbers, and is beautifully mounted and framed in a period plain oak frame. The title of the print is attached to the back of the frame. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, albeit with slight fading. It is a good image though! The image measures 24.5cm by 34cm, with the frame 50.5cm by 66cm. The price includes UK postage.
