Cyril Power Westminster Cathedral Etching 1920
A signed drypoint etching of The Campanile, Westminster Cathedral by Cyril Edward Power ( 17th November 1872-25 May 1951 ), dating to circa 1920. Although he was most famous for his later Linocuts he really was a very fine etcher and this print, fully inscribed, signed and numbered 45 of 100 copies, is a good example of his work. In a more modern frame and unexamined out of it it is in good condition, commensurate with age, and the plate measures 22.5cm high by 15cm wide, with the frame overall 42.5cm by 31cm. All photos are taken through the glass which may have given slight reflections.
