Fabulous Large Arts & Crafts Log Bin With Hearts
A wonderful Arts & Crafts brass log or coal bin, dating to circa 1900, with heavy wrought polished steel handles, strap work and feet and embossed hearts to the front and side. It really is a great object with great style and solidity. Offered in good condition, with normal signs of wear commensurate with its age and usage, with some dents and wear. It measures 61cm wide (65.5 at the foot), 40cm deep (43 at foot) and 68.5cm tall. There are two shrinkage splits to the wood of the base but they don't affect its solidity and if required, i can fit a drop in liner.
