French Art Nouveau Gilt Metal Cabochon Photo Frame
A sweet little French Art Nouveau gilt metal ( probably brass) photo frame, decorated with flowers and foliage set with coloured glass cabochons to the flower heads, and dating to circa 1900-1910. A nice strong piece, with strong stable strut, it is offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age There are two tiny splits to the side of the out swept feet, the circular wood back is a replacement and the gilt shows slight signs of wear but being on brass this isn't noticeable. Overall it looks great! It measures 15cm high, 12.5cm wide at the foot and the aperture is 7.5cm. The price includes UK postage, please contact if further afield.
