German Art Nouveau Pewter Tankard Stein Jugendstil
A lovely German Art Nouveau / Jugendstil pewter tankard or stein, dating to circa 1900-1910, with knurled foliate thumb piece. I have seen an identical stein attributed to Ludwig Lichtinger of Munich (1878-1927), but this stein is unmarked so I cannot be certain. It certainly is a great design and offered in good condition, commensurate with age, with only a couple of small nicks which aren't noticeable. It measures 15.8cm tall and 11cm in diameter at the base. The price includes insured postage within the UK, please contact me if further afield.
