Glasgow School Arts & Crafts Magazine Stand c1910
An interesting Glasgow School Arts & Crafts mahogany magazine rack or stand, with retailers label for Finnegans of London, Manchester and Liverpool. Dating to circa 1910 it is an attractive piece and extremely practical with three deep storage recesses. Offered in reasonable condition, commensurate with age, it has been reglued, blocked and polished. There is some fading to the upper timbers and a slight splay to the front but nothing that particularly detracts. Overall it measures 97.5cm high, 37cm wide and 30cm deep at the foot.
