Goberg Arts & Crafts Candlestick Circa 1910
A Goberg Arts & Crafts or Jugendstil steel candlestick, dating to circa 1910, with attached candle snuffer. Manufactured by Hugo Berger at the Goberg factory in Schmalkalden, Germany, it is very much in the Medieval Revival style with its castelated sconce. Stamped Goberg to the base. it is one of two I am listing. Although they are the same design this one is slightly taller and measures 22.5cm high by 12cm diameter, whilst the other is 21cm high. They would work as a pair, as long as they weren't side by side! It is in good condition, commensurate with age. The price includes UK postage. Please contact me for postage further afield.
