Goberg Arts & Crafts Steel Viking Ship Candlestick
A Goberg Arts & Crafts steel candlestick or smokers companion, manufactured by Hugo Berger in Germany, and dating to circa 1910. Fully stamped with his makers marks to the base it features an ashtray, matchbox holder, candle sconce at the stern and a fluttering brass pennant at the top of the mast. A rather fun thing! His firm specialised in items in the medieval revival style. One of two I currently have for sale, they look good individually or as a pair! it is offered in good condition, commensurate with age, with only minor signs of wear.
