Goberg Arts & Crafts Viking Ship Candlestick c1910
A Goberg Arts & Crafts steel candlestick or smokers companion, manufactured by Hugo Berger in Germany, and dating to circa 1910. Fully stamped with his makers marks to the base it features an ashtray, matchbox holder, candle sconce at the stern and a fluttering brass pennant at the top of the mast. A rather fun thing! His firm specialised in items in the medieval revival style. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it measures 29cm tall, 24.5cm log and 10.5cm wide.
