Goberg Viking Ship Candlestick Smokers Stand
A great Goberg Arts & Crafts or Jugendstil steel smokers companion / candlestick, dating to circa 1920, modelled as a Viking Ship. Manufactured by Hugo Berger at the Goberg factory in Schmalkalden, Germany, it is very much in the Medieval Revival style. Stamped Goberg to the base. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, there is a hole to the side at the rear that appears original, probably for a light. it's a fun thing and a good design and measure 29cm tall and 25cm long.
